**Company Overview**:
Coinford is a groundworks and concrete frame specialist that delivers contracts ranging from £1million to £50million throughout London and the South East of England. The role works out of our Plant Yard in Burstow Surrey.

**Role Purpose/Objective**:
To ensure Hire fleet is kept in good presentable condition, manage fleet off-hires to ensure all damages are reported. To keep the workshop housekeeping up to an acceptable standard. Assisting workshop staff wherever required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Health & Safety**_
- Ensure the working environment is safe for carrying out the necessary tasks.
- Ensure appropriate PPE is correct for the task being carried out.
- Ensure that yard and workshop safety rules are adhered to.
- Quarantine equipment if unsafe to use.
- Comply with RAMS applicable to workshop staff.
- Ensure that plant certificates are completed and updated.
- Ensure management of COSHH systems and substances.
- Training to ensure that specific tasks can be carried out.
- **Quality**_
- Regular liaison with Workshop Supervisor to ensure good communication between workshop and office.
- Ensure work is carried out in a timely manner.
- Check in off-hires and report all damage, as per plant damage process.
- Ensure plant is thoroughly cleaned on return.
- Notify Workshop Supervisor of potential re-occurring issues.
- Carry out cosmetic repairs to fleet, to ensure standards are met.
- Ensure fleet signage is kept up to an acceptable standard
- To ensure the workshop housekeeping is kept up to an acceptable standard.
- To assist workshop staff in day-to-day activities
- To show professionalism and to be the ambassadors of the company.
- **Commercial**_
- Minimise downtime on plant.
- To ensure that all plant leaving the yard, is clean, tidy and will uphold a good company image.
