Material Planner

SF Recruitment are supporting a leading Manufacturing business in Birmingham in recruiting for a Material Planner / Supply Chain Planner to join the team on a permanent basis.

**Salary**: £30,000 p.a. + flexi-hours + Company Pension + Holiday (25 + 8) + Excellent Progression.
The Role:

- As the Material Planner / Supply Chain Planner, you will create and optimise min-max stock levels for new tyres for the USA Warehouse taking into consideration the annual budget, seasonal demand and re-forecasts.
- Request that USA CSE's secure repair orders.
- Optimise and manage weekly worn castings.
- Review customer demand based on orders received and call offs to ensure new tyre inventory is in place to support monthly sales forecasts.
- Manage the intercompany new tyre shipments between UK and USA ensuring all orders in both systems match.
- Plan and manage customer pools from purchase to close out.
- Daily assistance or order pipeline to ensure order fulfilment.
- Confirmation of expected lead times for customer quotations and general lead time requirements.
- As the Material Planner / Supply Chain Planner, you will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Material Planner role ideally within the Manufacturing industry.
