Travis Perkins, a prominent supplier of building materials to the construction industry, is seeking a **Yard Supervisor** **to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our yard, warehouse and transport operation. This critical customer-facing position involves supervising and inspiring a team of Yard Assistants who interact with our customers daily.

**Where Will You Be Working?**

Travis Perkins is a network of 500+ branches that supply quality timber, building materials, kitchens, plumbing and heating, landscaping, painting and decorating essentials, and tools to trade professionals and self-builders across the UK. Our Alton branch employs 9 staff across sales, drivers, tool hire, and yard, and we run 1 HGV delivery vehicles.

**What Will You Be Doing as Yard Manager?**
- You'll manage yard operations and staff, including our vehicle drivers- You'll process customer orders, load and unload customer and company vehicles, and unload building products from supplier deliveries- As a key customer-facing role, you'll build strong relationships with customers by delivering the highest standards of service- You'll ensure that safety is at the forefront of everything we do and maintain a tidy and safe working environment at all times
- You'll need to be physically on the move, adaptable, resilient and tenacious, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
