This is a new role in a new team and so there is scope for the role to be developed further. Our sports and entertainment arm of the business is growing rapidly and so there is lots of opportunities in this space too. You will be reporting into the Headof Business Development and working alongside an Events Specialist.

**Marketing Manager Responsibilities**:

- Strategy: Responsible for delivering on the Marketing strategy and developing an implementation plan for the business.
- ROI: Responsible for monitoring & reporting on outcomes of all marketing funnel activities, checking results against expectations, MQLs, SQLs, ROI, and taking appropriate action where these do not meet anticipated outcomes.
- Brand: Working with the central marketing team and specialist local agencies to develop our brand, proposition and marketing collateral ensuring it adheres to our guidelines.
- Target Market: responsible for defining target market analysis, persona development & key messages.
- Content: Responsible for developing content calendar & ensuring delivery across our marketing channels.
- Marketing campaigns: Create and deliver marketing campaigns across the funnel (traditional and digital) to deliver MQLs to the business.
- Digital: tracking and reporting on digital marketing performance across social media and google analytics in particular
- Brand awareness: Develop and maximise regional PR, marketing activity and identify new opportunities within the local community.
- Adviser Engagement: Work alongside Advisers to develop and execute new ideas / initiatives.
- Marketing innovation: Keep on top of new marketing initiatives & trends and competitor analysis / research.
- Budget: Monitoring spend against agreed budgets.

**Marketing Manager Requirements**:

- Around 3 years current / recent marketing experience in a corporate or an agency environment.
- Experience of Financial Services preferable
- Proven experience of creating/ nurturing and converting marketing leads
- Ability to develop and implement marketing initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence at different levels within the company and effective at building relationships
- Manage a wide range of stakeholders
- A team player who is practical and hands-on, yet able to take a strategic view
- Self-starter, organised and determined with a good attention to detail
- Effective project management with a proven track record of driving forward initiatives
- Strong knowledge of a wide range of marketing communications activities especially online
- Experience of measuring marketing results and benchmarking performance

**Salary**: £42,000 per annum plus benefits
