**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a new role of Attendance Officer to join a supportive and motivated team and you must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’.

We are seeking a focused, organised and passionate individual who will play a key role in the ongoing health and welfare of students.

The purpose of this post is to providing operational and administrative support to promote whole school attendance strategies to fulfil our responsibility in the improvement of attendance across our academy. Owing to the nature of the role, an ability to relate to the academy’s students and their parents/carers in a positive and proactive way is crucial.

Strong IT skills and practical experience of using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, are essential for this role. Experience within a school attendance role is advantageous.
