Warehouse Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to work within our busy Palletways and VNA Warehouse. Reporting directly to the Warehouse and Storage Manager you will be expected to take full ownership and responsibility for the day to day warehouse operation.

**About Us**

Allelys General Haulage and Storage division has over 55 years experience and are capable of handling single pallet consignments to multiple over size loads. Warehousing areas can deal with single pallet fast moving consignments to long term unique storage.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Ensure customer requirements / orders are dispatched to time
- Flexibility to support operational requirements whilst maintaining integrity of goods in / out procedures.
- Loading, unloading and processing of all vehicles delivering into and collecting from site.
- Work directly with the Stock Co-ordinator to ensure 100% accuracy of all products
- Ensure yard and warehouse areas are maintained and kept clean and tidy.
- Manage staffing levels in warehouse areas to ensure a continuity of cover.
- Supervise the team of Warehouse staff.
- Comply with Company Health & Safety procedures.

**Qualification and Skills**
- Valid Forklift Certificates - Counter Balance essential / VNA preferred.
- Quick Learner.
- Excellent Problem Solving Skills.
- A good communicator at all levels.
- Must be able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.

**Salary + Holiday**
- competitive hourly rate with overtime.
- 28 days holiday per annum (to start) including bank holidays

**Working Hours**
- Normal working hours will be 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
