Head of Science position available as a Permanent, Full-Time position

This Head of Science role requires you to be a versatile senior teacher who feels ready for increased responsibility or an existing innovative Head of Science seeking a fresh challenge who has the drive to cultivate an ambitious learning space. We want tosee experienced teachers with the drive to improve practice using excellent curriculum knowledge and naturally motivate their staff. You should have the capability to organise your class and communicate well with them and overcome challenging situations. Theschool want to recruit a Head of Science with the initiative to not only improve their areas of care, but also to improve the overall effectiveness of the school.

As a Head of Science at this school you will be running the Science department as a vital member of the middle management team and you will be advancing the curriculum to meet the demands of the school. As a Head of Science you will be maintaining the extensiveresources on hand to your department and making excellent use of the impressive training material to develop your skills. Maintaining your teaching standard by the continued delivery of lessons, combined with your management responsibilities is important.
