Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing care to our 50 residents in our care home in Camden. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our residents with their daily living activities, including personal care and hygiene, meals, and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with their mobility, ensuring they are able to move around comfortably and safely.
- Ensure residents are comfortable and well-fed, providing assistance with meals as required.
- Administer medication to residents, following the correct procedures and ensuring accuracy at all times.
- Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, ensuring they feel valued and cared for.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all care provided.

Qualifications:

- NVQ 2 and above in Health and Social Care or related field.
- Willingness to complete an NVQ level 3 course while working.
- At least 2 years of experience in a care home or similar environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A caring and compassionate nature.

Additional Requirements:

- Skilled worker visa sponsorship currently only available to UK residents.
- A DBS check will be required prior to appointment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £12.40-£15.30 per hour
