Legal and Compliance Officer

A Legal and Compliance Officer / Paralegal is needed to join a Legal, Taxation and Accounting Consultancy based in Congleton, Cheshire on a FULL OR PART TIME BASIS. With fantastic career progression on offer, this is a rare opportunity to join an internationalcompany and make a real difference.

With combined experience of over 65 years, their legal, taxation and accountancy practice, specialises in clients with internationalassets. Reporting the UK Board of Directors, the Legal and Compliance Officer / Paralegal will be responsible for preparing, managing, and supporting clients.

Joining as the Legal and Compliance Officer / Paralegal you will enjoy a unique opportunity to grow a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals. Your experience should include basic knowledge of UK contract and company Law including Sale and Purchase agreementsas well as Probate and Will writing.

To qualify... You could be a Legal and Compliance Officer / Paralegal / Legal Assistant, or you may have worked in public practice and wish to join an international company, we dont mind as long as your CV demonstrates:

- Previous legal experience
- You can recognise ancillary services which will add value to the client relationship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills
- The ability to understand and handle multiple cases
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to build rapport with individuals from inside and outside the Firm
- In depth knowledge of will Writing and Probate transactions would be a bonus as would knowledge of Corporate and Contract law in Spain._
