We are a dynamic and innovative company seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Buyer to join our procurement team. As a key member of our purchasing team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's operational requirements.

**As a Purchasing Buyer, your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best possible prices and terms
- Conducting market research and analysing data to identify trends and opportunities
- Developing and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliveries
- Creating and managing purchase orders, contracts, and other procurement documentation
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements are met
- Managing inventory levels and optimizing inventory management processes
- Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives

**Key skills**:

- CIPS level 2 in Supply Chain Management, Procurement,
- Knowledge of tendering and purchasing of packaging products or similar
- Procurement experience under the European Community regulations
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a fast-paced industrial or commercial environment
- Strong understanding of procurement principles and practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and procurement software (e.g. SAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
