Group Tax Manager

A global energy and engineering business is looking to recruit a Group Tax Manager to join their business, on a remote basis.

There might be occasional travel 2-3 days a month to the Aberdeen office.

**Role**:

- Direct and indirect taxes for the group entities
- International tax compliance
- Group tax provisioning and all tax requirements for entity statutory reporting
- Reviewing and setting tax policies across the business
- Preparation of all group entity corporate tax filings
- Preparation of tax provisions for audit purposes -UK GAAP/IFRS
- Preparation or review of quarterly forecasts for the UK & US corporate groups
- Manage relationships with tax authorities
- Ensure statutory and tax compliance for the Group in all financial matters.
- Assist where required from tax perspective on any acquisitions, due diligence work.
- Review and approval prior to submission of various VAT/GST filings including but not limited to UK, Singapore, Indonesia and India, Denmark, UAE.
- Oversee and manager VAT or sales tax audits
- Oversee preparation of transfer pricing documentation and annual R&D reports as required.
- Lead restructuring and other planning opportunities
- Provide advisory support on employment tax issues

**Essential**:

- Qualified ACA or ACCA accountant or equivalent
- Strong Tax accounting skills (UK GAAP, IFRS)
- Strong corporate tax experience
