**The Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sample Service**
- Work with Customer service / SOR / ASM, BDM requests for shipping.
- Liaise with warehouse and goods in, for shipping and receiving samples and orders.

**Merchandising Requests**
- All P&E labelling to check with dept heads and purchasing if not set up on systems.

**Supplier samples**
- Arrange storage of supplier samples in appropriate areas related to P&E.
- Report goods that have been received to Department head and purchasing.

**Cutting Service**
- Create templates that can be dealt with on job cards to build up samples of current ranges and specials that are requested.

**Showroom displays**
- Work with department head to keep showroom updated with new material and to remove discontinued ranges.
- Liaise with marketing on any design changes needed to areas concerned.

**Trade Counter displays**
- Set up removeable displays and visuals for special offers and high-profile designs for client visits.

**Tile location service**

**Clearance lines**
- Identify and count all clearance goods that need to be sold off with report / images and back up display if necessary to dept head and purchasing.

**Special offers**
- Identify and count all special offer tile ranges that need to be shown, with report / images and back up display if necessary to dept head purchasing and marketing.
- Displays for Marketing
- Work with Marketing and dept head in creating displays on and off site for special projects / fairs etc.

**Merchandising Material**
- Book with marketing and department head any requests for extra material required to carry out your duties in a timely manner.
- Literature should be kept updated and in a clean storage area, example P&E catalogues.
- Cut samples need to be stored and labelled in appropriate areas.

**Health and Safety**
- Adhere to the corporate policy on Health and Safety at work as well as taking reasonability for Health & Safety within the area of your control.

**Environmental Awareness**
- To support the organisation’s corporate Environmental policy by complying with relevant environmental legislation and carrying out your duties in an environmentally responsible manner.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Good organisational skills.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Working within a team in a fast paced environment.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
