We are looking for a Tester to join the Digital Transformation Department for a global insurance firm, you will be responsible for the planning, documentation, delivery, execution and ongoing management, of an agreed Test Strategy to support the Master DataManagement solution.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understanding the Digital opportunities landscape for the client on a global basis and the different types of Digital initiatives to implement proportionate and fit for purpose test approaches and plans with a focus on MDM
- Test Management for the MDM portfolio and act as the point of authority on all matters related to testing, including setting testing approaches, standards and key success factors for Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, QA, Performance and Automated Testing
- Work with wider Product teams including Product Owners and Product Analysts, Scrum Masters, Agile Project Managers, Developers and external vendors to promote and support 'best practice' to ensure that testing quality standards are being met
- Produce SIT and UAT testing approaches and plans which encompass business related testing, test scenarios and test cases, working with Product Owners and Product Analysts to ensure traceability to business requirements using traceability matrices and organize/runtesting meetings/sessions as needed
- Develop and set documentation and standards for all testing activities, including using a common approach, structure and platform (e.g. Confluence) for documentation and be responsible for checking that these standards are being properly met
- Support the MDM Product Owners in confirming that products are ready for production deployment, test evidence is of the required standard and CAB processes are correctly followed
- Promote the value of Test Driven Design and embedding the software development practice of creating unit test cases before developing the actual code, in development teams
- Develop status reporting on testing per Digital initiative and for the Digital opportunities portfolio as a whole, including dashboard type reporting showing test tracking and results for the Digital Executive Action Team meetings
- Build relationships with other Digital Transformation Heads of Portfolios and senior business stakeholders to promote best practice testing approaches

**Skills and Experience support mdm product owner**
- Experienced as Tester or Test Manager with a comprehensive understanding of the full software development lifecycle including both bespoke software development, vendor package (or a combination of both) and associated integrations
- In depth knowledge and experience of all stages of testing, including Unit Testing, Systems Integration Testing, Quality Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, Performance, Automated testing and Test Driven Design
- Proven experience of management of test planning and execution with internal teams, vendors and/or third-party development teams, either on-shore or off-shore and demonstrable experience of delivering test plans and associated traceability matrices to supportcomplex initiatives and able to mentor and supporting less experienced testing team members
- Strong analysis, consultation, communication and presentation skills and ability to influence the direction and thinking of senior stakeholders and capture complex requirements in a prioritised backlog and ability to understand strategic needs whilst focusingon the customer
- Experienced Agile practitioner capabilities and experience working in Agile teams
