**CNC Programmer - £35,000 - £41,000 - Oxfordshire**

**Role**: CNC Programmer

**Field**: Automotive/Scientific/Aerospace/CNC Machinist/CNC Milling/EDGECAM/Multi-Axis/FI/Nuclear/CNC Programming/CAD/CAM

**Salary range**: £35,000 - £41,000 dependant on experience

A prestigious and service orientated Machine Shop specialist are looking to appoint a CNC Programmer to supply into industry leading organisations which include F1, Space Exploration, Fusion Energy, R&D and other high tech scientific operations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and arrange specific tooling requirement for production which includes fixture and cutting tool list
- Creating programmes and setting CNC machines as well as creating parts programmes on CNC Mills
- Ensure machining processes are optimised especially on large batches
- Provide training and support when required in machining and programming techniques
- Set and operate CNC Machines when required

**Experience**:

- Craft apprentice scheme/mechanical qualifications or relevant industry experience
- Experience within a precision engineering environment and working to tight tolerances
- An understanding of CAD systems/drawing packages
- Strong programming skills and experience of EDGECAM CAD/CAM Software
- Working with a range of different metals i.e. aluminium, steel, etc
- Previous experience of using 3/4/5 axis CNC Milling machines with various controls i.e. Haas, Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain
