Quality Auditor

As part of our sustained growth, OCU Group are looking to recruit a Quality Auditor to join our Team in Borehamwood. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Auditor who is passionate to work in a fast paced environment and be a part of a successful growing organisation. The purpose of this role is to oversee the Quality Audits and Inspections across multiple sectors within OCU Services Ltd, with a particular focus on Rail, Power Projects and Frameworks. The main purpose is to conduct regular internal audits and support the Quality & Compliance Manager with external (client and accreditation organisations) audits, and input into seeking new accreditations and/or memberships as part of the company’s continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibility for consulting with Operational Leads and Functional Teams to assist in the creation of new documents and/or updates to existing Policies, Procedures and Forms, to include support in development of Contract specific Quality Management Plans, Inspection & Test Plans, and other quality related documents.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead Quality Audits and Inspections, supporting the Quality & Compliance Manager with day-to-day activities to ensure the company’s operations are conducted in accordance with industry Regulations and Legislation, and accrediting bodies to include but not limited to; ISO, RISQS, CEMARS, NERS and Constructionline.

Varied duties that will include but not be limited to:
- Implementation of regular internal Quality Inspections and Audits
- To lead external Audits, providing feedback on non-conformities and implementation of Lessons Learned Action Plans
- Support to Operational Leads to complete Contract specific Quality related documents and provide advice on Quality Management related matters.
- Bid Writing activities for Quality related questions for Prequalification and Tender submissions.

**Skills & Experience**
- Significant experience in a Quality role within the construction industry and ideally in the Rail and/or Power sectors
- CQI/IRCA Internal Auditor in either 9001/14001/45001/22301/27001
- Professional Membership with CQI/IRCA or IOSH
- Verify the effectiveness of the RISQ audit framework and Protocols.
- Knowledge of Sentinel system
- Health and Safety experience desirable
- PTS Certified but not essential
- Current CDP
- Good understanding and implementation of documentation in accordance with CDM Regs 2015
- Flexible approach, a team player and ability to prioritise own workload.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of all MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook)
- Attention to detail, with a methodical approach.
- Excellent time management, organisational skills, and ability to work to multiple deadlines.
- To hold a current Driving Licence
- Flexible on travel within the UK
