Funeral Bearer

We are now looking for a Driver Bearer to join our busy team. This role involves the removal of the deceased from the place of death, attendance on funerals as a driver and bearer, and care of the fleet.

**Driver Bearer Duties**:

- To care for the deceased at all times
- To convey the deceased from their place of death. Hospital, nursing home or private residence, bringing them back into our care with dignity and care.
- To remain composed and act professionally and appropriately at all times
- Caring for our fleet of vehicles helping to make sure they are kept clean and tidy at all times. This will include valeting the funeral fleet and private ambulances.
- To be of clean and smart appearance
- To be punctual at all times
- To have and retain a full UK driving license
- To have excellent attention to detail

You will need to be willing to join the on-call Rota on evenings and weekends. There is additional pay for on call and any callouts you may complete.

**Experience**:

- funeral: 5 years (preferred)
