**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for an HR Generalist to work in a standalone role to support the company in its mission to deliver first-class architectural, development, integration and training services across the broad Microsoft 365 ecosystem.

We are looking for a self-motivated and resourceful human resources professional who is passionate about delivering a superb employee experience through hands-on knowledge of the industry’s best practices, outstanding communication skills and excellency in running people operations. You will have both administrative and strategic responsibilities, and will help with important functions such as recruitment, employee relations, training and development, compensation and benefits.

You will be based full-time within our technical office in Kent (Maidstone), as that houses the majority of our 100 person team. You will therefore need to live within easy commuting distance of Maidstone.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Employee Relations**: Lead complex employee relations issues (e.g. long sick absence, redundancy, performance and disciplinary) while coaching line managers on the relevant procedures, supporting them in dealing with complex and sensitive people matters.
- **Employee Lifecycle**:Own the whole employee lifecycle journey, including onboarding, new hire induction, documentation, keeping personal records, managing the end-to-end family leave processes, compensation negotiation, exit interviews, and offboarding.
- **Health & Safety**:Acting as a Health & Safety Officer for the company, ensuring all relevant requirements are being adhered to promptly, regularly conducting risk assessments and training.
- **HR Advice & Support**: Provide comprehensive HR support and advice to employees and line managers, thorough expert knowledge of employment law, HR procedures and policies, delivering excellent customer service.
- **Benefits Administration: Coordinate benefit renewal, oversee all benefits administration activities, identify new benefits schemes to improve our current package, so the company can retain talents and increase employee satisfaction.**:

- **HR Systems** **& People Analytics: Act as a key user of the HR System (**_**BambooHR**_**) and utilise all available people data for analytics and reporting to support business initiatives.**:

- **Wellbeing, Diversity & Engagement: Introduce wellbeing, diversity and engagement initiatives to boost employee satisfaction and foster company culture.**:

- **Policies**: Designing, implementing and administering HR & business policies, ensuring compliance with labour regulations at all times, while maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the field.
- **Performance management**:Own the performance management process, including appraisals, driving continuous feedbackculture, designing learning opportunities, and career development plans, providing guidance to line managers and helping resolve any performance issues.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources or a related field
- Strong prior HR Generalist experience in a standalone role
- Practical knowledge of UK laws and regulations related to employment
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills and the ability to negotiate and influence
- Excellent standard of written and verbal communication
- Proven experience in successfully leading employee relations’ processes
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Efficiency in building relationships at all levels with employees across different locations
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems, when necessary

**NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS**
- CIPD Level 5 qualified
- Knowledge of _BambooHR_ software
- Working or theoretical knowledge of EU employment laws and regulations
- Previous experience in the technology sector, especially in tech recruitment
