**BARRISTER/SOLICITOR ADVOCATE**

An in-house Barrister or Solicitor Advocate is required to deal with a mix of Claimant fast and multi-track personal injury matters for this busy, established team based in Manchester.

**Role Overview**

A large part of the role will involve fast track trials. You will be expected to represent claimants at trials around England and Wales and to undertake representation of the firm's clients at CMCs/CCMCs, Interim Hearings, IAHs, Stage 3 portal Hearings andother forms of advocacy in claimant PI litigation. Although the majority of the work will be on fast track cases there are opportunities to be involved in multi-track litigation.

The firm is seeking a barrister/solicitor advocate with the following experience/characteristics:

- Qualified solicitor or barrister from a chambers/employed bar or civil litigation background
- Current practising certificate
- Higher Rights of Audience (if applicable)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of PI Litigation/Civil Procedure Rules
- Previous experience of Personal Injury work
- Own car preferred (although travel expenses will be paid)
