Domestic Cleaner

**Job Title: Domestic Cleaner**

**Report to: Domestic Supervisor**

**Hours: Full and Part time hours**

**Region/Departments: Corriewood Private Clinic**

**Location: Based in Corriewood**

**Main Function of the job: Cleaner**

You will ensure that all areas of the home are a clean and comfortable environment in which staff and visitors can effectively work. You are responsible for all areas of cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping.

**MAIN TASKS**:

- Sanitise floors and hand rails
- Clean the bedrooms and all seating areas
- Ensure Tables, chairs and other furniture are properly cleaned and presentable
- Clean offices, halls lounges and corridors
- Wash bathrooms, mop floors and clean fixtures
- Ensure adequate cleaning materials and equipment are kept in stock
- Report any defects or damage identified during the cleaning process to management
- Follow procedures as laid down by management in daily, weekly or other regular cleaning

Report and record in the appropriate manner any information considered to be important to the Home Manager and Directors and adhere to Corriewood Private Clinic’s policies and procedures.

**PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT**

All employees have a responsibility to participate in regular Appraisals with their Manager and to identify Performance Standards of the Post. As part of the Appraisal process every employee is responsible for participating in identifying their own training and development need to meet those Performance Standards.
