My Client

My Client has been established for over 25 years and is an interior fit out specialist installing in commercial offices. Their glazing systems are also increasingly being used in schools, colleges, hospitals and other such public sector buildings.

Formed initially as a specialist labour company installing partitions and suspended ceilings, the company soon developed into providing an integrated specialist sub-contractor service to the design and build market and main contractors. In this respect, their project management team draws upon substantial experience within the industry, providing a professional and proficient service from design and space planning to the ideal finished working environment.

My client is independent in the Partition and Ceiling market, meaning they can supply a wide range of proprietary systems. They are registered contractors for Fusion Partitions, Forza Doors, Komfort, SAS Ceilings, CCF and SIG, but are also able to offer other systems according to their client’s specification. All their fit outs are of a high quality and are designed to meet all levels of acoustic, aesthetic and performance related requirements.

The Role

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates for glazing and dry lining projects
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to understand project requirements
- Maintain accurate records of estimated and actual costs
- Identify and quantify cost factors such as production time, materials, and labor expenses

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the glazing and dry lining industry
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Albourne, West Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- surveying: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
