**Atlas Maintenance (Scotland) Ltd -**

A well established (30 years) multi-trade building maintenance/minor works contractor has a permanent full time career opportunity for the position of Painter and Decorator within our multi trade team.

Good all rounder required for: Aimes taping, Wall papering, painting and decorating works form part of the job scope. Must be willing and able to undertake other less skilled tasks as and when required to support other trades and client requirements.

**Essential requirements;**
- Proof of time served apprenticeship and minimum of 8 years (qualified) experience.
- Current full driving licence.
- Current valid CSCS card.
- The ability to use a smart phone (provided for business use only) to complete job related electronic 'paperwork'.
- Disclosure Scotland (PVG Scheme) vetting on appointment to the position.
- Excellent standards of customer service.
- A thorough knowledge of their trade related health and safety.

Core working hours 08.30 to 17.00hrs (16.00 Friday) - Minimum 39hr week + travel. However can be flexible and overtime available. Some weekend working and nightshift working will be required.

Basic hourly rate upon commencement negotiable but in line with current market.

Overtime rate paid for out of hours working.

Paid travel time outside of normal working hours.

References will be required.

**Salary**: From £32,500.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Paper hanging: 4 years (required)
- Ames taping and filling: 4 years (required)
- Airless spray painting: 1 year (preferred)
- Painting: 8 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
- Category B driving licence (required)
- City & Guilds or SVQ qualification in painting & decoration (required)
- IPAF certificate (preferred)
- PASMA certificate (preferred)
