IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL:
This role has responsibility for creating and maintaining clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation for our hybrid integration platform MACH (Medical Application Connection Hub) and the Orchestra Healthservice Bus (OHSB) as well as leading documentation strategy, creating complex technical content and mentor junior colleagues.

The role will be part of a new team that is being developed to deliver the new MACH Integration platform as a service (IPaaS) for our global clients.

Key responsibilities will include the creation of user guides, supporting the creation of API documentation, and internal process documents. Excellent writing skills and technical understanding are necessary.

You will be a key member of the Product Team and will ensure that the MACH platform releases are delivered on time and to our customer satisfaction.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Internal Team Support
- Writing user guides/ manuals as well as complex technical writing e.g. refactor existing OHSB and contribute to Academy
- Translating technical concepts into user-friendly language while establishing documentation standards for MACH
- Act as a facilitator, together with the product team to combine the knowledge about our products and processes into documentation
- Scripting the verbal description of training videos

Personal/Professional
- Keep abreast of current and developing trends and technologies across the digital healthcare landscape and identify opportunities for improving and automating the documentation process

Other
- Any other duties as reasonably required

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong writing skills and technical understanding
- Experience with technical documentation in the form of text, graphics, and video clips
- Knowledge of the necessary tools (documentation systems, graphics programs, video editing, etc.)
- Familiarity with documentation standards and tools like DITA/DITAMAPS, Confluence and/or XML/HTML
- Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger
- Professional level proficiency in English and 'ideally' conversational level proficiency in German, other languages are a plus.
- Basic knowledge of versioning tools like Git

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency in using Office Productivity and Collaboration Tools
- Skills in user-experience, interaction or visual design
- Experience with Oxygen
- Experience working for an international company dealing with global clients
- Knowledge of healthcare standards (HL7, DICOM, IHE) are an advantage
- Expert knowledge of version control systems like Git are be beneficial
