**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a sports coach to join our team this summer **Possibility of a full-time role following a temporary contract.**

As a sports coach, you will be responsible for providing sports activities to children aged 5-11 years and children aged 11-16 years. Your role will involve educating, guiding, and supporting young people in sports and fitness. You will be dedicated to helping young people develop skills and knowledge around various sports like football, basketball, gymnastics, yoga, boxercise, cricket, hockey, netball, and other sports. You will need to have experience dealing with behaviorally challenged children and work well under pressure.

You will be working in various locations throughout the Darlington area, such as schools, community halls, and other spaces. The sessions will involve you working with another sports coach, delivering sessions to up to 20 children.

**Experience**:
Previous experience as a sports coach or in a similar role is required.
strong knowledge of various sports disciplines and their rules.
ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate techniques to athletes of all ages and skill levels
excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
strong organisational skills to plan training sessions and manage team schedules
DBS is preferred.
A full UK driving license is required.
