**Role - **Senior Planner
**Salary
- **£45k - £50k
**Location-** Manchester - 3 days a week in the office
- Agency experience is a must.
- B2B: experience in B2B is a must, ideally across a variety of industries including tech / telcos.
- Digital: a solid understanding of and experience planning digital-first.
- Seniority: They will either be in a Senior Planner role now or have been mid-weight for at least two years.
- Strategy & planning: experienced in all aspects of strategy and planning but mainly comms, campaigns and brand.
- Clients: plenty of experience working closely with clients, being client-facing and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- Workshops: experienced in planning and facilitating workshops with clients.
- Research: defining research projects and working with external research agencies.
- CRM: experience working with CRMs, HubSpot in particular would be ideal.
**Responsibilities**:
- Research & Insights: working with Client Services to define the approach for the insights phase and managing this end-to-end, uncovering insights that will inspire brilliant work and demonstrate our value to the client.
- Workshop facilitation: be one of the main facilitators in our client workshops, keep attendees engaged, be the strategic voice in the room and guide the discussion.
- Strategy: Developing insight-led strategies for our clients which will include lead generation, brand awareness, website development, brand and messaging development (alongside our in-house content team).
- Media Planning: Planning the execution of campaigns across the full digital media mix (collaborating with our in-house Performance team).
- Creative: work with the creative team to ensure concepts and outputs are strategically aligned.
- Optimisations: support with reporting and optimisations were required, along with the Performance team.
**Skills**:
- Presenting: pitches, insights, strategies, media plans.
- Pitching: Get involved with pitches when needed. What skills would we like them to have?
- Analytical: strong analytical skills, able to distil large amounts of information into key insights.
- Strategic: someone who applies strategic thinking to every decision, having the ability to think ‘big picture’ as well as in the detail is really important
- Presentation skills: able to build a narrative in a slide deck, and confident at presenting their ideas and gaining buy-in.
- Digital: strong understanding of B2B buyer journeys, particularly the digital touchpoints.
- Web: UX / website planning is a ‘nice to have’ but not essential.
- Confidence: happy to facilitate workshops, take the lead on client calls and challenge where necessary.
- Collaborative: enjoys working with different teams in the agency and is open to different people’s ideas.
- Self-starter: motivated and confident enough to get moving with tasks, ask if they don’t know the answer and generally get stuck in.
- Commercial: commercially minded is a plus as this can be developed if needed.
