Freelance Tutor

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducting 1:1 and potentially small group tutoring sessions for GCSE students, both in-person and online. (rate will be higher for group sessions)
- Developing tailored lesson and teaching materials to meet the individual learning needs of students.
- Providing constructive feedback and assessment to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement via Tutorbird
- Cultivating a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success.
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in accommodating students’ learning preferences and schedules.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in GCSE Maths and Sciences curriculum and examination requirements.
- Experience in tutoring GCSE Maths or Science students, preferably in a freelance or tutoring capacity.
- Fluency in Welsh and ability to teach Maths or Science in the Welsh medium an advantage but absolutely not necessary.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
