The Food Train is an established Scottish charity SC24843 and this role is based in the Falkirk branch.

Our Shopping service involves weekly contact with older people and supports them to remain living as independently as possible. This volunteer role is available Wednesday and/or Thursday each week hours (approx.) 09:30-14.00. Tasks include:
Driving a medium sized van

Delivering food shopping to older people within the Falkirk area

Loading and unloading grocery boxes

Assisting with putting away shopping in people's homes

Completing paperwork

**Salary**: £0.01-£0.02 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift

COVID-19 considerations:
We follow any Government guidelines. You may require to wear a face mask in member's homes if requested. PPE will be provided.

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driving licence held for over 2 years (required)
