**Are you looking for a new challenge in an organisation committed to making a real difference and where you will be highly valued for the contribution you make?**

Our leadership team are committed to making a real difference to the lives of people of Cambridgeshire and you will play a vital role in supporting them to do deliver their ambition to create a greener, fairer, and more caring Cambridgeshire.

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide efficient, effective and proactive support to one of our Executive Directors. Operating as an ambassador for the service, you will use your knowledge and understanding of the service to juggle commitments, make informed judgements about conflicting demands and make it possible for the Executive Director to make the most effective use of their time to deliver.

You will strive for excellence through taking the lead and coordinating packages of work across a variety of corporate and service requirements as the need emerges, and these will provide real opportunity to get involved in differing aspects of the Council’s activities. You will be part of a team of Executive Assistants working together to support members of the Council’s leadership team, sharing knowledge and best practice and reporting into an Executive Business Support Manager.

As well as providing direct business support to a designated Executive Director, you will have professional and managerial oversight of the delivery of high quality, reliable Personal Assistant support to the senior leaders within your area, through the supervision of a small team of Personal Assistants.

About you
You will be an experienced PA with a strong track record in business administration and have the ability to lead and manage aspects of the support service. With a Level 3 (NVQ/A-Level) equivalent or relevant experience, you will have well-developed knowledge and experience of technology and IT used in the workplace to facilitate efficient and effective workflow and communications.

A highly organised person, you will have the ability to anticipate and pre-empt challenges and provide solutions with a calm, balanced and positive approach demonstrating good judgement and diplomacy.
