**Assembly Operative**

**Job description**

Pulse Fitness is looking for someone to join our Assembly Team to build commercial fitness equipment, fully test equipment and make sure that the machine is 100% defect free before signing off ready to be dispatched to the customer (full training provided).

**Main duties and responsibilities**:
Working within a team you will:

- Ensure every machine is built and refurbished from start to finish and of high-quality build.
- Obtain good time management skills whilst ensuring correct prioritisation when assigning work schedules so that the needs of the customers’ requirements are met to fit in with the guidelines.
- Making sure you work area is clean, tidy, and organized workstation observing Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Complete Standard Operating Procedures for each process.
- Report to the Production Manager.
- Fit and assemble components to meet production requirements.
- Can work well with a team or individual.
- Maintain standards and a consistently high quality of assembly, in accordance with the Product Quality Checklists completing a product improvement form for any new issues that arrive due to product quality reporting these to the Assemble Team Leader.
- Repair faulty fitness equipment and minimize the amount of snagging with Out of Box failure in order to get customers equipment order 100% complete for time of delivery.
- Make sure that all records and necessary paperwork are kept up to date and accurate at all times, recording against the correct machine any parts used and time taken.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised workstation observing Health & Safety in the workplace. Inclusive of waste removal and recycling
- Prepare and spray paint various fitness equipment
- To install all commercial fitness equipment in line with company standards and health & safety regulations
- To complete all commissioning checks on all equipment
- To build non-Pulse equipment when required
- To keep in good working order any tools, equipment and vehicles supplied by Pulse.
- To report any faults, breakages, equipment failures or vehicle defects to your line manager
- To support the company to continually work towards ISO9001 / BS / EN957 standards.
- And any other job deemed necessary to meet the requirements of the company business

**Person Specifications**:

- Flexible working attitude including the ability to priortise and or work under demand to meet customer requirements
- A reliable team player
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Able to read drawings and plans
- To be of good physical health and able to lift heavy machinery
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
- Understanding and or interest in fitness equipment
- To be computer literate

Full training will be provided, no experience is necessary.
