**The Springfields Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced Administrator to join the School in Autumn 2023.**

**FTE Salary Range**: NJC Grade D, Point 4 - 6, £21,189 rising to a maximum of £21,968 per annum, pro-rata

**Actual Annual Salary**:£18,856.34 rising to a maximum of £19,549.58 per annum

**Contract Type**: Permanent, full time, term time only (39 weeks per year)

**Contract Hours**:37 per week, Monday to Friday

**About the role**

We are seeking to appoint an excellent Administrator. The job involves working within recognised procedures and will include reception duties, answering routine telephone and face to face enquiries from a range of stakeholders including parents, staff and students.

General administrative duties including maintenance of manual and computerised records/management systems, financial administration e.g. collects and records dinner money and undertaking specific duties that support the day to day administrative operations of the school.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and self-sufficient person who is very well organised and with a can-do attitude. We are looking for people who have the following experience and qualities:

- NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent qualification or experience
- Good knowledge of general computer packages and office equipment e.g. Microsoft Office, photocopier, telephones etc.
- GCSE Mathematics and English - Grade C and above or equivalent
- Experience of manual and computerised record/information systems
- Have good verbal and written communication skills to exchange information with a range of audiences (e.g. staff, students, parents and others)
- Previous experience of working in a school, whilst is not essential would be desirable.

**About the School**

The Springfields Academy is an academy over two sites in Calne and Salisbury. This includes a residential provision at our Calne academy. We aspire to build safe independent lives for autistic young people through support, understanding and enablement. Additionally, we are a ‘National Autistic Society Accredited Provision’ with over 90% of the current cohort having a diagnosis of Autism. All students have the potential to access a primary/secondary curriculum.

We are an acknowledged centre of excellence for Autism; we are highly reflective in our practices, and are continually working to improve our provision and practices. We provide a personalised curriculum journey that enables leaners with a diagnosis of autism to develop skills in areas of need and to overcome their barriers to learning. The drive to build ‘safe Independent lives’ shapes this curriculum and everything else that we do. The Academy has a PAN of 190.
