Hewett Academy is seeking a reliable, dynamic and responsible person for the role of Behaviour Officer to support and supervise students who have been temporarily removed from lessons in the Academy.

The position holder will provide immediate support for behavioural incidents which take place and work with students, parents and staff to support a smooth reintegration back into the learning environment.

Hewett Academy is one of the most iconic schools in Norwich. The school was graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in its last inspection. Since then, the school has built strong relationships within the community and takes pride in being a highly inclusive school in which children from all backgrounds walk alongside the most diverse student population in Norwich. Students demonstrate respect for each other and their teachers through calm and purposeful attitude around school, in lessons and during Hewett Lunch. The academy aspires to bridge the disadvantage gap; in the summer of 2023 its students exhibited four pieces in the Royal Academy of Arts is testament to this work.
