We have two High Street Shops in the medieval tourist village of Lavenham, Retail Therapy and Trends. We sell an eclectic range of ladies clothing, fashion accessories and lifestyle ideas. Retail Therapy & Trends is looking look for an experienced Retail Sales Advisor who can bring their previous success to our business so helping to maximise profitable sales via in-store and online sales. **A natural ability and desire to interact with and ‘convert lookers into buyers’, will be second nature to the successful applicant enabling them to meet weekly sales goals.**

**The Retail Sales Advisor Role**

Creating a welcoming atmosphere resulting in one-to-one customer buying experiences

Maximising sales opportunities & achieving and exceeding sales targets both in-store and equally importantly, online via Social Media and our Shopify Websites

Be involved with a variety of day-to-day jobs as part of running our retail shops including visual displays

An ability to work under your own initiative but happy to work as part of the team and follow management instruction
- Product knowledge is essential to successfully sell any product and as such, comprehensive training will be provided._

The Position requires 5 days a week to include working some Saturdays & Sundays on a shared rota basis, which is issued in advance.

**The Benefits**

Starting salary of £14.50 per hour. Equating to £28,275 PA. Plus 50% staff discount

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor
- Stock shelves & merchandise products, maintain window displays
- Operate cash register and handle financial transactions accurately
- Answer customer inquiries and provide product information
- Upsell products and promote special offers or promotion

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient workflow
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with customers of diverse backgrounds
