What you’ll be doing

As a Mental Wellbeing Coach within our Living Well Tameside service, you will provide support people with their wellbeing, and help them to navigate the complex health and social care environment.

You will connect with people and provide one-to-one coaching to help them navigate their way through the complex health and social care environment, removing the barriers that may impede self-management and helping to embed coping strategies.

What we need from you
- You will offer advice and emotional support in a relaxed and friendly environment, both one-to-one and in groups.
- You will use person-centred coaching tools and relationship-based practice to support people to achieve their goals.
- You will use your creativity to connect with people and help solve problems.
- You will develop relationships with partnership agencies throughout Tameside.
- You need an enhanced level DBS check for this role.

What we will offer you in return
- An annual salary of £26,845 (NJC SCP 17)
- A fixed-term, full-time contract for 12 months
- 25 days holiday, and 30 once you've been here five years
