We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Speech & Language Therapy Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Speech and Language therapy team. Working within a committed and proactive multidisciplinary therapy team alongside education colleagues, you will assist the Therapy staff to support autistic children and young people to develop independence and achieve their potential.

Papillon House School, set in extensive woodlands in Tadworth, Surrey, is an independent day school for autistic children and young people. Therapy at Papillon aims to provide the scaffolding to support each pupil’s learning style and the team are dedicated in working alongside the teaching staff to support our pupils to achieve their full potential.

You will need to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to adapt and be creative in your approach to engaging young people. You will be provided with regular supervision and opportunities for development and training. It is desirable that applicants have previous experience in working with individuals with autism and challenging behaviour.
