**Nursery Cook**

An exciting new position for a Nursery Cook /Chef has become available and we're looking for an enthusiastic person to work in a day nursery setting, in the Great Barr area.

**About the Nursery Cook position**
- Based in a day nursery setting
- Permanent role/Part time hours - 22- 25 hours per week
- Hours of work variety between 9am & 4pm with one late per week needed
- All year round contract
- Salary between £10.85 - £11.20 per hour
- Preparing and cooking fresh meals for nursery aged children
- Ordering shopping weekly & managing shopping budgets
- Plan exciting menu's each term
- Organising food quantity for meals orders each day
- Liaising & Reporting with the Nursery Manager
- Completing relevant paperwork & stop checks
- Working towards maintaining Level 5 food hygiene rating

**Requirements for the Nursery Cook position**
- Previous experience in a similar role desirable
- Must hold a minimum Level 2 food safety certificate
- Relevant knowledge of correct procedures for cleaning & food preparation/storage
