We are currently looking for a friendly individual to join our team. We are a busy independent pharmacy located in Bexleyheath and pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient-centred care.

As a Dispenser, your role will mainly involve supporting the efficient running of the dispensary but you will also be required to support the healthcare counter when necessary.

Your duties will include:

- Giving advice to help customers lead healthier lives.
- Supporting the pharmacist with services such as NMS, Flu, BP Checks, PCR & Travel Vaccinations.
- Complying with legal and professional requirements as indicated in our SOPs.
- Maintaining clinical governance. Ensuring that date checking and cleaning rotas are kept up to date, fridge temperature recorded daily and near miss logs completed.
- The safe supply of medicines from ordering, collecting, dispensing and delivering prescriptions.
- Delivering efficient dispensary operations and minimising dispensing losses via correct stock rotation, accurate endorsement and timely claiming of prescriptions.

Essential Requirements:

- You will need to have NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Dispensing **OR** completed the Healthcare Assistant Course.
- At least 1 year previous experience of working in a community pharmacy.
- Confident in dispensing for Nursing homes.
- Full time position for 40 hours/week. Monday-Saturday (shifts between 8.30am-7pm)
- Able to work extra hours to cover staff shortages, holidays and busy periods.
- Good IT skills - Familiar with Pharmacy Manager.
