Iapt Counsellor

**The Role and Department**:
We are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Counsellor to work as part of our busy IAPT Counselling team. Reporting to the IAPT Counselling Project Manager, the Counsellor will work as part of our IAPT counselling team and will be responsible for delivering counselling sessions within an 8 - 12 session model alongside undertaking assessments from our community hubs and within GP surgeries. As part of the wider IAPT team, the role will also see you supporting other areas of the IAPT service where required.

**What you will bring to TogMind**:
To be considered for this role, we are looking for a qualified counsellor (Level 4 (minimum) Counselling Diploma) with two years post qualification experience. Applicants must have experience of providing support services to members of the public and demonstrate experience of providing brief (8 - 12 session) counselling to clients experiencing common mental health problems. Applicants should have achieved or be willing to work towards an IAPT specific qualification such as Counselling for Depression, Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy.
