Workshop Controller

**Role Purpose**
- Whilst maintaining supportive team relationships for the overall good of Aqueduct Marina’s P+L you will, in line with relevant service level agreements, provide management of all scheduling for operations activities.
- Optimise the operations departments staff in the delivery of all tasks against the Site Schedule, along with occasional tasks, to time, cost, and performance.
- Be a customer focus for work being undertaken and ensuring professional standards are maintained.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Scheduling, Prioritising & allocating jobs to the workshop team to maximise the efficient use of all resources.
- Manage the definition of work plans, repair schemes and estimates.
- Progress chasing against the Project and Site Schedules, informing the COO and Assistant Operations manager of Slippage or Opportunities, and identifying Cost and Logistics issues.
- Maintenance schemes for all equipment and workshops, ensuring ‘Fit for Purpose’ availability.
- Distributing and controlling the allocation of jobs to the workshop team to maximise quality and overall efficiency.
- Monitoring parts supply and expected arrival dates, reporting this to the operations team and Senior Management on a daily basis.
- Monitoring completion dates and over age/late tasks and update daily
- Monitor of the workshop KPI’s and completion targets
- Assisting Managers and Team Leaders in implementing and maintaining effective processes to ensure that we meet quality standards and that this is achieved in a timely manner.
- Creating and maintaining professional relationships with all members of the workshop team
- Liaising with other departments
- Maintain a tidy and professional working environment, with a special emphasis on Health & Safety.
**Daily Tasks**
- Schedule operations staff workloads across all areas.
- Allocate work according to the scheduled workload.
- Contact customers prior to work commencing
- Contact customers that have had work completed
**Weekly Tasks**
- Attend weekly Operations team meetings.
**Monthly Tasks**
- Produce monthly report on customer satisfaction levels

**Skills and Experience required**:
**- Essential**
- +5 years operations management experience
**- Expected**
- A proven track record of setting and meeting ambitious goals in the engineering industry.
**- Nice to Have**
- Boating knowledge
- Experience of using sage accounts and/or Kudo’s systems.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
