Neighbourhood Officer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Officer within our Housing Service.
**About You**:
You’ll provide a high-quality neighbourhood service, providing advice and support to our tenants ensuring tenancies are sustained. This will include viewings for prospective new tenants, changes in tenancies due to changes in circumstances, dealing with disputes and resolving issues and difficult situations, dealing with rent arrears and attending court when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of our tenants and ensuring other organisations are involved where necessary.

You’ll be busy in this role so you must be organised, able to react quickly to changing priorities and be a firm but fair decision maker. You will also be in direct liaison with tenants so strong communication skills and sensitivity when dealing with difficult situations is essential. Though this role sits within a wider team of officers, you will need to use initiative to work independently at times.

A full driving license is essential.
