**Your new organisation
My client is one of largest health boards within NHS Wales that prides itself on delivering the health needs for the capital city and surrounding areas.
Your new role**We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Waste and Compliance Manager in Cardiff. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company complies with all relevant waste management regulations and forimplementing and managing our waste reduction and recycling programs. This role manages 4 direct reports (Senior Supervisors in Waste) and they manage the larger team of 30-35 individuals. **What you'll need to succeed**You will need to have a strong understanding of waste management regulations and a proven track record in implementing and managing waste reduction and recycling programs. Relevant experience of waste management is essential. You will require good interpersonalskills and the ability to bring strong people management to this role. You should be comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and employees, and be able to effectively communicate complex information toa diverse audience. You will experience in successful project management and keen interest in Welsh Governments recycling initiative.
**What you'll get in return**You will get the opportunity to work for an organisation that supports the local community with a valued service. Your new role pays between £24 - £28 per hour and is based on a 37.5 hour working week, with the option to work from home 1 day a week after theinitial starter period has finished. This role will be advertised permanently and you will be in consideration for the position and if successful have access to a fantastic pension scheme along with the opportunity for further learning and development.
