**Salary: £32,000 to £38,000 DOE**

**Type: Permanent, Full time**

My client is looking to recruit a Test & Development Engineer to join their manufacturing company based in Wiltshire. The company are a world leading manufacturer of precision parts, primarily serving the automotive, aerospace and power generation industriessupplying a worldwide customer base.

The main duties within the role of Test & Development Engineer will be:

- Producing 3D models and assemblies, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Design of test rigs for static & dynamic testing / Design of our clients products.
- Creating detailed technical drawings for the manufacture components.
- Produce suitable test plans/test reports and manage projects.
- Operation of test rig.
- Installation of instrumentation and associated equipment.
- Write software for rig data acquisition, and control systems.

**Skills/Experience required**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Solidworks experience or similar CAD package
- High level of IT skills (such as Excel, Matlab)
- Experience with FEA/ CFD.
- Knowledge of QA and DFMEA
- Project management skills.
- Good understanding of GD&T AND experience with FEA and CFD (beneficial).
- Excellent understanding of Mechanical Sciences.
