**About the Opportunity**
- Promote a Nuclear, Safety Culture and quality standards set by Jacobs the client, and International accreditation bodies are compliant to the relevant standards.
- Interact with supply chain in the generation and the adherence of working of their ITPs to ensure correct manufacture. This would be completed during offsite inspections allowing formal release of items from the supply chain.
- Defines inspection as activities such as measuring, examining, testing, gauging, one or more characteristics of a product or service and comparing these with specified requirements, to determine conformity.
- Keeping adequate and accurate records of all stages of the work being carried out, materials used, ambient conditions, manufacturers product reference numbers, expiry date, batch numbers, colour, reference number of thinners, WFT and resulting DFT, etc.
- Attend stake holder meetings to give advice on preparation work required and suitable paint systems. And produce suitable paint method statements from client specifications to a standard that will allow them to be approved by the client.
- Working with paint manufactures technical support team’s and coming up with a paint system suitable for the job’s, these type of paint procedures now need to be approved with SL engineering experts.
**Here’s What You’ll Need**: Essential Qualifications & Experience**:
- Trained / Certified to CORR level 1/2 Coatings inspector, BGAS CSWIP Painting Inspector Grade 2, ICATS (Industrial Coating Application Training Scheme) and a CSCS Card Holder
- Min 3 years’ experience as a coating’s inspector
