Cmm Inspector

We are working with prestigious well-known client who has been a leading manufacturer of precision machined components, fabrications, assemblies and kit sets for the Oil and Gas, Telecommunications, Aerospace and Defence, Land and Sea Systems, Nuclear and Marine industries for over 30 years. We are recruiting for an experience CMM Inspector to join this organisation in Southampton.

**Knowledge and Experience required of the CMM Inspector:

- **
- 3 years of experience in Engineering Environment
- Over 3 years’ experience of Mititoyo or PC-DMIS
- Programming, setting and operating CMM machines
- Ensures all quality related matters are raised during Inspection to the Quality or Production Team for resolution.
- Understanding of CMM Best practice techniques.
- In Depth Knowledge of GD &T.
- Inspect parts, CMM or manual methods, adjusting CMM programs.
- to ensure components are inspected to drawing tolerance, specifications, efficiently and accurately with a high attention to details.

**Qualification for CMM Inspector required:

- **
- ONC/HNC level or equivalent Certified internal auditor.
- Full apprenticeship/time served in machining or relevant skills applicable to the role.
- Adjusting CMM programs & Writing Program.
- recognized CMM Training or Programmer/operator training.

**Hours:

- **39 hours P/W

**Nights: -** 05:00pm to 3:30am Monday to Wednesday and 05:00pm - 02.30am

Thursday. Flexibility required as shift patterns may vary in line with business needs.
