**Stores Team Leader/Supervisor dependent on experience.**

**Department**: Production Supervisory team

**Reporting to**: Production Manager

**Direct Reports**: Stores Operatives

To support the stores team to be a top performing and effective team. You will help develop existing processes around stocking, kitting, production, quality control, health and safety and distribution. You will lead by example, ensuring our products and services are second to none and you must demonstrate our core leadership values of dynamic drive and determination, self-assurance and a just do it attitude

This is a key role to support the Production Management team to ensure we have the necessary communication, drive, determination, and leadership within the production department to achieve our vision goals.

**Requirements**:

- 2 years of supervisory experience in fast paced Stores operations
- Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data analysis skills
- Excellent emotional intelligence and performance management skills
- IT skills (Excel, word, outlook etc)
- Lean Manufacturing experience

**Key areas of the role**:

- To control and monitor the issue of materials to the factory and retail depots.
- To minimise wastage and ensure that materials are not over issued.
- To ensure that issues and receipts are promptly recorded in the correct manner.
- To keep high housekeeping standards in all store’s areas.
- To restrict access to the stores to authorised personnel only.
- To undertake regular stock takes to accurately check and record stock
- Use Teams and Outlook to ensure that any communications are accurate and presented in professional manner.
- Work with Stores Managed to set the teams tasks and targets.
- Ensure the team are fully trained in their own job as well as multi skilling where necessary.
- Manage the team consistently and keep them accountable for their tasks.
- Ensure holiday/absence cover is planned.
- Work close with CI team to improve our current processes and areas.
- Independently complete RCA’s and run 8D problem solving projects.
- Liaise with other department managers to highlight any upcoming issues.
- Report any stock and quality issues through NCR’s.
- Attend stores related meetings.
- Carry out PSI’s (Problem Solving Interviews) promptly and in accordance with the guidance provided & follow up on actions as necessary.
- Assist stores Manager on any disciplinary and H&S investigations.
- Lead by example and work in line with Starglaze Family Principles.

Any other duties as required that the role of team leader would need to fulfil

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.80-£14.19 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
