Electricians Mate

**Job Role: Electricians Mate**Location: Leicester**Salary: 30K - 37K DOE**We have an opening for an Electricians Mate to join our field service team on a permanent basis. You will visit highly automated sites around the Midlands (occasionally further afield) working with a team of engineers to ensure successful completion of installationprojects. You will provide various labouring skills, competencies and capabilities supporting the electrical installation team.
**What will I be doing as the Electricians Mate?**
You will be involved in all the projects going on at various different sites. You will provide the necessary expertise to ensure successful completion of electrical installations in compliance with current legislation. You will carry out welding and fabricationof electrical containment systems and small stainless-steel support structures.
**Key Responsibilities of the Electricans mate**:

- Support the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of a variety of electrical systems and equipment
- Adopt safe systems of work (RAMS)
- Observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders
- Follow efficient work procedures and techniques
- Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks
- Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations
- Ensure all tools and equipment in use is certified and/or calibrated

**What are we looking for in our Electricians mate?**:

- You will already be a very experienced electricians mate. Experience working in an FMCG is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Experience of working with industrial electrical installations - 5+ years.
- We do need you to have experience in light welding and general fabrication experience for electrical containment systems and associated stainless steel support structures
- MEWP and FLT operator experience
- Cable pulling, wrapping and termination skills
