**EMPLOYED Arrest Officer - to cover South Wales**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Planning and organising your own workload
- Executing outstanding warrants of arrest, clamping orders, confiscation orders
- Transporting or bailing defendants to the appropriate court, police station or prison
- Liaising with courts and police when handing defendants over
- Arranging to meet defendants at court where appropriate
- Where applicable seeking payment in full of the debt and where the debt cannot be paid establishing financial circumstances and capturing key employment/income details

**Essential Skills**
- **Full UK driving licence**:

- **BPSS Clearance**:

- Flexibility with working hours
- Excellent communication skills
- Assertive and confident
- Results and target driven
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Effective organisation and time management skills

**Desirable Previous Experience**
- Experience in the debt collection industry
- Experience of working in sales
- Experience in the security industry, law or parking enforcement
- Military experience
- Field based / lone working experience
- Ability to speak and understand the Welsh language

**Salary & Benefits**
- £20,001.80 basic salary
- Monthly performance-related bonuses up to £400 per month
- Average bonus payments paid whilst on Holiday (up to 20 days pa)

Jacobs provide an extensive training programme and new recruits will gain a recognised industry qualification therefore previous experience is not essential. Conflict management, negotiation techniques and vulnerability and safeguarding are all additional topics we cover.

All new recruits are assigned a dedicated mentor in the field who will offer ongoing support and guidance throughout the initial training period and thereafter.
