Weigh Bridge Operator

Mac Recruitment Group are delighted to represent our client, a worldwide leader in the waste to energy and renewable sector. A Weighbridge Operator is required to join their busy team.

**Duties**:

- To ensure that the weighbridge operations are run safely and efficiently and that all waste transfers are recorded accurately into the system.
- Ensure that all legal and other requirements are met in line with the companies’ procedures.
- This role may also be the first point of contact for all visitors and contractors that arrive on site so will require professionalism at all times.
- Ensure site security maintained at all times
- Ensures that work accidents, incidents and near misses are reported
- General administrative duties
- Covers for colleague’s annual leave may be required
- Covers for General Attendant when required

**Skills**:

- Knowledge of plant operation procedures, methods, and equipment
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and standard safety practices and procedures

**Requirements**:

- A level or equivalent in English and maths
- Experience/qualification in operating mobile plant

**Salary & benefits**:

- £24,500 + £2.5k shift allowance (Conti Shift)
- Bupa Private Med including partner and children up to 25 years as long as they still live at home

**Salary**: £9.62-£10.82 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 48 per week
