We have the exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to join our team as the nursery cook.

In charge of the kitchen, and catering for up to 118 children at any time, we are a large team and the following criteria is key:

- The knowledge of various allergens and dietary requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of legal requirements and national policies such as HACCP
- The understanding of nutritional wellbeing and how to promote this in children up to the age of 8 years
- The ability to work well under pressure in a time specific environment
- The ability to follow nursery policies and procedures, including accurate and timely record keeping
- Being able to work in a team, being able to delegate and also share responsibilities with the kitchen assistant
- Monitor stock and ensure the adequate available of food items
- Experience in this industry is essential, as well as the ability to demonstrate how this experience applies to this role

This position may be closed early if a large number of applicants are received.
