Pirchasing Assistant

A leading Pharmaceutical Production business is looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join the team working closely with the Head of Procurement and Senior Buyer. You will be responsible for the following areas:

- Responsible for operational purchasing process
- Operational supply of raw materials, packaging and third parties supply to sites through purchasing activities with the Head of Procurement
- Work closely with suppliers to actively source products and secure new suppliers
- Maintain the SAP system and manage the information input across prices, lead times, payment terms and terms and conditions
- Provide information on the companies budgets and costings from SAP
- Provide support on purchasing reports and support Purchasing Manager.

You:
Ideally you’ll have 1-2 years’ experience in a procurement, purchasing or buying role with experience of SAP or MRP/ERP systems. Experience in a fast moving environment would be advantageous.
