**Pay rates with holiday pay included;**

Weekday-£12.50

Weeknight-£13.50

Saturday-£14

As a home carer, your duties will include:

- Assisting the service user to take prescribed medication.
- Assisting service users with Dietary Care such as preparation of snacks and meals according to the service user’s preferences and assisting with feeding, as required.
- Assisting service users with Colostomy management under the supervision of a Qualified Healthcare Professional
- Assisting service users with dressing and undressing, preparing the service user for Day Care or trips out.
- Assisting service users with washing, bathing, showering, shaving, grooming, cleaning teeth etc.
- Assisting service users with End of Life (Palliative Care) needs under the supervision of a District Nurse.
- Assisting service users with getting in and out of bed.
- Assisting service users with the use of Aids to Daily Living / Rehabilitation Aids, as required.
- Helping with rehabilitation programmes, as prescribed by Qualified Healthcare Professional.
- Assisting service users with domestic and household chores such as general cleaning duties, bed-making, clearing refuse and rubbish, laundry, handwashing, Ironing, Light needlework, as required.
- Assisting service users with preparation of shopping lists and assistance with budgeting.
- a minimum of basic written and verbal communication skills;
- a minimum of 3-6 months experience;
- be compassionate and patient;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £12.50-£18.50 per hour
