**Role Purpose**

The purpose of the role is ensuring all Transport administration duties are undertaken in a timely, accurate manner. Providing security to site and point of contact for customers and drivers through the night. All applicants must have experience within the transport industry.

**Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities**
- To make sure that all drivers are on time for departure. Any no shows or absence to be covered by calling agencies or subcontractors.
- To ensure driver packs are complete ready for drivers’ departure. To include driver manifest, delivery paperwork, check sheets, and seals where necessary.
- To brief all drivers at the start of their shift. Go through driver pack with them and make them aware of any customer specific requirements, temperature of goods and answer any queries they may have.
- To carry out breathalyser tests randomly on drivers each shift, ensuring all documentation is completed and on file.
- Advise drivers at the start of their shift if their vehicle is due vehicle inspection or servicing at the end of day.
- Make sure that any new agency drivers have been issued, read, and signed the Agency Quick Start Guide.
- To scan all POD’s against orders on Proteo and ensure that all missing POD’s are requested and received from drivers/ customers.
- Ensure call in screen is cleared down on a daily basis.
- To learn and provide cover for night stock allocation.
- Resolving driver/ customer and delivery point queries and issues.
- Responsible for ensuring night shunters are performing their allocated duties and any other tasks required to maintain a smooth loading operation throughout the night.
- Check loaded trailer temperatures throughout the night.
- To assist night shunters with cleaning of vehicles and trailers on a Saturday shift.
- To report and log any vehicle call outs/ repairs.
- Carry out and record vehicle checks to cover cleanliness and damage inspection.
- Arrange fleet service bookings and update fleet files with R2C paperwork
- To produce KPI reports to assist the Operations, Fleet and Transport Managers.
- Any other administration tasks required.
- Ensure company procedures and protocols are followed at all times.
- To ensure clean desk policy is adhered to.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
